It’s been a busy month for Manchester’s Royal Exchange! Just a matter of days after been granted planning permission to carry out a multi million pound refurb of the Grade II listed building, our client, Trinistar Manchester announced that law firm Clyde & Co. was to sign up to the scheme, taking 11,022 sq ft.
“To have secured this sizeable deal prior to the commencement of the main refurbishment works demonstrates huge confidence in the scheme,” said Trinity IM’s Richard O’Boyle. “Clyde & Co are completing their fit out and will be in occupation by June.”
Speaking about the decision sign up to The Royal Exchange, James Dadge, partner and head of the Clyde & Co Manchester office, said: “Our Manchester office has been one of our firm’s greatest success stories. It has grown 19 per cent in the last year, with a 22 per cent increase in headcount, positioning us as one of the largest firms in the city. To enable us to continue to expand our portfolio of business in Manchester we are delighted to be moving to the beautiful, historic and central premises at The Royal Exchange.”
With work due to start on the building this month and further lettings in the pipeline, keep your eyes peeled for further updates!
