Barwood Capital, the UK investment and real estate business, and national logistics developer dbsymmetry have announced that Enviroride, trading as Greenmotion Car Rental, has signed up to Manchester Green.
Greenmotion has relocated from Regus at Manchester Business Park to take 4,404 sq ft in Building 1 on a five year lease. The remaining space in the building is occupied by Worley Parsons, who moved to Manchester Green in 2015.
Located next to Manchester International Airport, Manchester Green comprises five office buildings offering 107,000 sq ft of accommodation. The scheme is now home to blue-chip occupiers including Worley Parson, Chiesi and Ingredion.
The Greenmotion deal follows hot on the heals from the 14,838 sq ft letting to Assetz Capital, part of Manchester based Assetz Group, at Building 3 last month.
Benjamin Hunter at Greenmotion Car Rental said: “From the outset we wanted a self-contained office, located close to Manchester Airport and one that provided ample car parking provision. The owners of Manchester Green worked with us to ensure our requirements were met.”
Barwood Capital acquired the business park in 2013 as part of its 2012 Property Fund, and since then with dbsymmetry, has embarked on a comprehensive phased refurbishment programme across the estate.
