68 Grosvenor Street let to Manchester International College

| Mark

Manchester International College has signed a new 10 year lease on the whole of 68 Grosvenor Streeton the southern fringe of the Manchester City Centre.

Formerly the home of the European Opera School, and more recently the Royal Northern College of Music, the 13,000 sq ft former mill building attracted interest from a wide variety of occupiers. Its location close to Manchester University, though, always meant that another educational use was the likely outcome.

Building owner, SAS Properties, carried out a full refurbishment of the building.

Canning O’Neill acted on behalf of SAS Properties and also advised on and negotiated the acquisition of the adjoining car park from Manchester City Council, which formed part of the transaction with the College.
