Bridge Properties’ Cheadle Hulme office complex is fully let now that the sportswear and footwear companies have signed 10-year leases for a total of 8,950 sq ft.

Situated off the A34, the 32,000 sq ft Eden Point also lists SKN Spa, Symphony Textiles, Content Chemistry, Overtec, Cutts and Co, and AMG Financial as tenants. Amenities on site include a café, showers, parking, bike storage, lounge areas, privacy rooms, and gardens.

Capelli Sport has taken 5,600 sq ft at Eden Point. Tristan Batt, director of sales at Capelli, described why the company opted to set up at the Cheadle Hulme office.

“We were looking for a space that would have some of the DNA of our Manhattan showroom, that would deliver a visual impact when you come to visit us,” Batt said. “Secondly, we wanted somewhere that people would want to come to work to and the facilities are great in this building.”

Skechers has signed on for 3,950 sq ft on Eden Point’s 2nd floor, which it will use as a showroom and office.

The successful lettings follow a dynamic refurbishment programme at Eden Point, which Bridge Properties acquired in 2017 for £3.2m.

Bridge Properties director Paul McCann said: “We are hugely proud to have fully let Eden Point; we acquired the building at the end of 2017 and set about creating a destination where businesses could flourish in attractive well designed office space which we felt was lacking outside of the city centre.”

Canning O’Neill and Williams Sillitoe are joint agents for Eden Point.

Regarding the recent lettings, James Dickinson, a director at Cannon O’Neill said: “From sports and financial to medical and technology, Eden Point has successfully attracted a myriad of highly successful organisations who see the value in being based here”.

Bridge Properties has conducted a similar refurbishment programme at its Element office building in Birchwood. The 40,000 sq ft office complex has already claimed its first tenant: soil, structure, and nuclear engineering company Soletanché Freyssinet IT UK. Soletanché Freyssinet has signed a five-year lease for 3,360 sq ft on the property.
