Joint agents Canning O’Neill and OBI Property said the 20,000 sq ft office building in Piccadilly Manchester is 100% occupied following the completion of two deals totalling 11,373 sq ft. The third and fourth floors, 3,973 sq ft each, will be occupied by Rathbone Training UK, a nationwide youth charity which helps young people transform their lives through learning. The organisation is moving from Churchgate House in Oxford Street and has signed a 10-year lease. Datasys, which delivers software solutions and specialises in supplying complex rail management systems to UK train operators, is moving from Carrington Business Park to take the whole fifth floor of 3,427 sq ft on a five-year lease. The 20,000 sq ft building is owned by MCR Property Group.

James Dickinson, director at Canning O’Neill, said: “These two deals are testament to an improving market in Manchester. Wellington House is a popular building owing to its close proximity to all of the city centre’s amenities and to all major public transport links at Piccadilly”.
