ICE Foundation has acquired Northern House in Salford Quays to accommodate their ICE Postgraduate Dental Implant Training Centre and Dental Implant Referral Centre, and will open in January 2015 following a comprehensive refurbishment of the building
ICE have purchased the freehold interest of the 5,726 sq ft building for an undisclosed figure.
Canning O’Neill Office Property Consultants acted on behalf of the Vendor.
ICE Institute trains dentists clinically in partnership with Edge Hill University and offers a PGDip/Msc in Implant Dentistry.
COMMENT FROM MARK CANNING – Director -Canning O’Neill; “The market is clearly moving and the availability of freehold opportunities , not only in Salford Quays / Media City , but the whole of Greater Manchester, is dwindling and prices are rising”.
Freehold prices are still well below their pre-recession levels but with limited supply and with an improved economy, and with it fewer “distressed sales”, the only way is up!”
ICE Foundation consists of three distinct professional groups; ICE clinics- a network of centres dedicated to implantology, the ICE institute (ICEi) which is an educational academy and ICE association (ICEa) which has been set up to provide, day to day, professional and practical support to dentists and the entire dental team.
ICEi offers dentists highly structured postgraduate courses and mentoring programmes, ranging from informal courses to MSc level degrees in partnership with Edge Hill University, whilst ICE is a referral service of regional clinics and two hospital based hubs offering all aspects of Implant Dentistry including inpatient treatment for major reconstructive bone grafting and dental implant surgery.
