A Manchester city centre dental practice has relocated to new premises on St Ann’s Square after securing a £260,000 funding package.
Manchester Dental Practice is currently the sole provider of NHS dental services in the city centre and treats more than 18,000 patients each year.
The business, which was based in the Northern Quarter for more than 25 years, will now operate from the 3,700 sq ft premises at King’s Court.
As well as immediately increasing patient numbers, the practice plans to add an eighth surgery specialising in facial aesthetics and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr Asif Saleem, director at Manchester Dental Practice, said: “There are around 9,000 new homes currently under construction in Manchester city centre, which will only add to the existing high demand for our services.
“We’ve been considering rehoming our practice for some time and this exciting new location will enable us to provide greater access to our waiting list while widening our offer to support the increase in demand for cosmetic services.”
Alongside the Dental Practice, Manchester International Beauty Academy Limited also acquired 3,304 sq ft on the 3rd Floor of the building and Oakwell Hampton Ltd took 3,209 sq ft on the 4th Floor taking the building to full occupancy.
