Almost 60% of the new ICE building at the Exchange Quay office development in Manchester has now been let following the completion of five deals to Riverview Law, Leaders Romans, Philips Trust Corporation, TTI Inc and 11 Degrees.

Legal services company Riverview Law, which was acquired by EY in August 2018 to support the expansion of its global legal managed services, has acquired the entire top floor suite totalling 5,212 sq ft.

Leaders Romans, one of the UK’s largest property services providers, has secured 3,983 sq ft on the first floor.

Estate planning services firm Philips Trust Corporation has taken 2,228 sq ft on the second floor, which has already been split into smaller suites with communal facilities.

Global specialist electronics distributor TTI Inc, a Berkshire Hathway company, has taken Suite 2.3 (1,238 sq ft) on the second floor, while urban fashion brand 11 Degrees, a favourite label among celebrities and sports stars, has taken Suite 2.4 (1,044 sq ft) on the second floor.

ICE is the latest concept to be unveiled at Exchange Quay and forms part of the strategy being implemented by Ekistics to enhance the existing occupier offering and to encourage a cohesive, collaborative office community.

The building provides some 26,000 sq ft of contemporary Grade A office accommodation together with a café bar, business lounge and communal meeting space.

Exchange Quay is one of the largest office developments in the North West, currently accommodating well over 3,000 people.

Located approximately 1.5 miles to the southwest of Manchester city centre, the scheme boasts its own dedicated Metrolink tram stop and is strategically located just off Trafford Road which links Salford Quays to both Manchester city centre and the regional motorway network.

Axel Waldecker, managing director at Ekistics, said: “We are delighted to welcome five more new tenants to the Exchange Quay community in our carefully designed new Ice Grade A office space.

“By adding the “Ice Bar” to the list of first class on-site amenities, we now have an attractive environment for staff to unwind in at the end of the day.”

Ekistics also recently announced the appointment of Manchester-based Till AM as investment managers to be based within Exchange Quay.

The quoting rent on Exchange Quay is £20 per sq ft, plus car parking.
