Eurosonic Group has signed up to 11,002 sq ft at Brightgate House, Cobra Court in Trafford Park on a 10-year lease at a rental of £16 per sq ft.
The company, which supplies quality homeware, kitchenware and electrical products, has relocated from Cheetham Hill to take the whole of the ground floor. The company will join existing tenant Specialist Computer Centres PLC which recently extended its own commitment to the first floor.
Speaking about the deal, James Dickinson, director at Canning O’Neill, which represented Seneca Property, commented: “Brightgate House has been recently refurbished to provide Grade “A” accommodation together with extensive car parking and EV Charging points. The letting of the ground floor means the building is now fully let”.
Richard Wharton, director at JLL, which represented Eurosonic, commented: “Our client took the decision to dispose of the building in Cheetham Hill and relocate within a relatively tight timeframe. After viewing a number of options in the Salford and Trafford area, Eurosonic decided Brightgate offered the company high quality accommodation at a competitive rental in a well-established business location.”
Chris Bullough, MD at Seneca Property which first acquired Brightgate House in 2017, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Eurosonic to Brightgate House and I have no doubt this will prove to be a fantastic new home. This letting underscores our plan to invest strategically and create attractive modern workplaces, which continues to yield success throughout our wider portfolio.”
