Our Canning O’Neill colleagues work closely with clients across our portfolio; helping landlords let their space, and helping occupiers find new buildings in which their people can thrive. That includes our client Conferma Pay, a leading fintech business that will soon relocate to Towers Business Park in Didsbury. The deal is one of the largest transactions in South Manchester this year and here, Conferma’s Sara Feddy tells us more.
Conferma is a leading fintech company, and the world’s foremost provider of virtual payment technology – so we are always growing and adapting.
Until 2023, we’d operated out of two separate buildings at Cheadle Royal Business Park in Cheshire, but there was an increasing appetite from our newly-appointed CEO Jason Lalor to change the situation and get everybody under one roof.
We turned to Canning O’Neill to help in our pursuit of a new space, seeking their advice as we sought somewhere suitable to house our growing team. But the brief wasn’t just about being in one place, we know how workspace has changed in recent years, and it was imperative that any new building would be best in class – with all the amenities that would help us attract and retain the best people from our sector.
After an extensive search of the market, Canning O’Neill showed us a 15,000 sq ft workspace in Ocean House, part of Kennedy Wilson’s Towers Business Park in Didsbury, where high specification offices caught our eye from the outset.
Of the many appealing features was the prospect of our colleagues’ improved wellbeing. Towers has 20 acres of parkland, landscaped gardens, fitness classes and events – all features that tick the boxes for us as we nurture a working environment in which all can thrive.
Canning O’Neill delivered for Conferma, finding us somewhere with a strong community which fits perfectly with our ethos. Right now we’re fitting out our new space, but we can’t wait to immerse ourselves in this excellent environment – somewhere that will undoubtedly have a positive impact on our business.
