Canning O’Neill Ltd is a leading firm of office agents, completing over 150 transactions annually across Manchester, Salford, and Cheshire. Our clients include some of the largest and most well-known property companies in the North West, alongside national and international funds and private clients.

With an experienced team of five full time staff based in Manchester city centre, we pride ourselves on our strong reputation, market expertise, and providing excellent service.

This role has become available due to Helen’s upcoming (early!) retirement and offers an opportunity to play an essential part in the smooth operation of our business.

The Role:

As Office Manager, you will be a vital part of the team, ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the office while supporting the wider agency team in delivering high-quality service to our clients. This is a full-time, office-based role in Manchester city centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming office enquiries, providing professional and friendly assistance.
  • Co-ordinate team diaries to arrange property viewings and client meetings efficiently.
  • Keep property listings and availability up to date across all relevant platforms.
  • Support the team with property instructions, including arranging signage, co ordinating marketing materials, and administration tasks.
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients for completed transactions.
  • Manage office operations, including responsibility for supplies, utilities, telecoms, and IT contracts.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as required.

About You:

We are looking for an organised and personable individual with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an office management or administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • A confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Experience in the property sector would be beneficial but certainly not essential.

What We Offer:

  • Salary of £25,000 – £27,000 (depending on experience)
  • Holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays and 3 additional days between Christmas and New Year.
