Commercial property agents Canning O’Neill are please to report the sale of One Quays Reach, Salford Quays.

Property firm Fairhome Group PLC will relocate its headquarters to One Quays Reach after purchasing the building for £2.7 million.

The Greater Manchester development, investment and facilities management company for the supported living sector acquired the new Salford Quays base from Harpin Limited.

The 25,000 sq ft self-contained office building is part of the wider 100,000 sq ft Quays Reach development off Langworthy Road, which was built in 2003 and is home to occupants including Robinson Way, NSPCC and Frenkel Topping.

Ian Burgess, managing director of Fairhome Group which will relocate from its Eccles base, says: “We are delighted to now own One Quays Reach.  The board has taken the decision to buy this building because our current office space does not meet the requirement of our current employee numbers and growth plans for Fairhome.”

“We are very excited about the future and we will create a fantastic new environment for our staff.  We want to be an employer of choice and we aim to move everyone into the building towards the end of this year.”

Conrad O’Neill, director of commercial agent Canning O’Neill which brokered the sale for Harpin Limited, says: “The value of the sale demonstrates the continued appeal and success of Salford Quays as a business destination.”

Canning O’Neill and GVA acted jointly for Harpin Limited. Fairhome Group was unrepresented.
